Και ενω ετι ελαλει μετ' αυτων, ιδου, κατεβη προς αυτον ο μηνυτης· και ειπεν, Ιδου, παρα Κυριου ειναι το κακον τουτο· τι πλεον να ελπισω εις τον Κυριον;

And while he was yet talking with them, behold, the messenger came down unto him: and he said, Behold, this evil is of Jehovah; why should I wait for Jehovah any longer?

While he was still talking to them, the king came down and said, This evil is from the Lord; why am I to go on waiting any longer for the Lord?

While he was still speaking to them, the messenger appeared who was sent to him. And he said: “Behold, such a great evil is from the Lord! What more should I expect from the Lord?”

And while he yet talked with them, behold, the messenger came down to him. And [the king] said, Behold, this evil is of Jehovah: why should I wait for Jehovah any longer?

While he was yet speaking to them, the messenger appeared, who was coming to him. And he said: Behold, so great an evil is from the Lord: what shall I look for more from the Lord?

While he yet talked with them, beholde, the messenger came downe vnto him, and saide, Behold, this euill commeth of the Lord: should I attende on the Lord any longer?

Comme il leur parlait encore, voici, le messager descendit vers lui, et dit: Voici, ce mal vient de l'Éternel; qu'ai-je plus à attendre de l'Éternel?

वह उन से यों बातें कर ही रहा था कि दूत उसके पास आ पहुंचा। और राजा कहने लगा, यह विपत्ति यहोवा की ओर से है, अब मैं आगे को यहोवा की बाट क्यों जोहता रहूं?

正 說 話 的 時 候 ， 使 者 來 到 ， 王 也 到 了 ， 說 ： 這 災 禍 是 從 耶 和 華 那 裡 來 的 ， 我 何 必 再 仰 望 耶 和 華 呢 ？

他和眾長老還在說話的時候，看哪，王（“王”原文作“使者”）就下到他那裡，說：“看哪，這災禍是從耶和華來的，我為甚麼還仰望耶和華呢？”
