Die Siphiter aber gingen zu Saul nach Gibea hinauf und sprachen: Weißt du wohl, daß David sich bei uns auf den Berghöhen in Hores verborgen hält, in Gibeath Hahachila, südlich von der Einöde?

Ανεβησαν δε οι Ζιφαιοι προς τον Σαουλ εις Γαβαα, λεγοντες, Δεν ειναι κεκρυμμενος ο Δαβιδ εις ημας εν οχυρωμασι εντος του δασους, επι του βουνου Εχελα, του προς τα δεξια Γεσιμων;

Ανέβησαν δε οι Ζιφαίοι προς τον Σαούλ εις Γαβαά, λέγοντες, Δεν είναι κεκρυμμένος ο Δαβίδ εις ημάς εν οχυρώμασι εντός του δάσους, επί του βουνού Εχελά, του προς τα δεξιά Γεσιμών;

Then came up the Ziphites to Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself with us in the strongholds in the wood, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of the desert?

Then the Ziphites came up to Gibeah to see Saul, and said, Is not David living secretly among us in the strong places in Horesh, in the hill of Hachilah to the south of the waste land?

Then the Ziphites ascended to Saul at Gibeah, saying: “Behold, is not David hidden with us in very secure places in the woods on the hill of Hachilah, which is to the right of the desert?
