بعد هذا الامر لم يرجع يربعام عن طريقه الردية بل عاد فعمل من اطراف الشعب كهنة مرتفعات. من شاء ملأ يده فصار من كهنة المرتفعات.

Po těchto příbězích neodvrátil se Jeroboám od cesty své zlé, ale opět nadělal z lidu obecného kněží výsostí. Kdo jen chtěl, posvětil ruky jeho, a ten byl knězem výsostí.

Auch nach dieser Begebenheit bekehrte sich Jerobeam nicht von seinem schlimmen Wandel, sondern bestellte aufs Neue alle beliebigen Leute zu Höhenpriestern. Wer da wollte, dem füllte er die Hand, und so wurde der ein Höhenpriester.

Μετα το πραγμα τουτο δεν επεστρεψεν ο Ιεροβοαμ εκ της οδου αυτου της κακης, αλλ' εκαμε παλιν εκ των εσχατων του λαου ιερεις των υψηλων τοπων· οστις ηθελε, καθιερονεν αυτον, και εγινετο ιερευς των υψηλων τοπων.

Μετά το πράγμα τούτο δεν επέστρεψεν ο Ιεροβοάμ εκ της οδού αυτού της κακής, αλλ' έκαμε πάλιν εκ των εσχάτων του λαού ιερείς των υψηλών τόπων· όστις ήθελε, καθιέρονεν αυτόν, και εγίνετο ιερεύς των υψηλών τόπων.

After this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again from among all the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, that there might be priests of the high places.

After this Jeroboam, not turning back from his evil ways, still made priests for his altars from among all the people; he made a priest of anyone desiring it, so that there might be priests of the high places.

After these words, Jeroboam did not turn back from his very evil way. Instead, to the contrary, he made priests for the high places out of the least of the people. Whosoever was willing, he filled his hand, and he became a priest of the high places.

After this thing Jeroboam turned not from his evil way, but made again from all classes of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became [one] of the priests of the high places.

耶羅波安仍執迷不悟這事以後，耶羅波安還不從他的惡道轉回，竟然把平民立為邱壇的祭司；願意的，他都把他們分別為聖，立他們為邱壇的祭司。
