واذا بقوم يعبرون فرأوا الجثّة مطروحة في الطريق والاسد واقف بجانب الجثّة. فأتوا واخبروا في المدينة التي كان النبي الشيخ ساكنا بها.

Και ιδου, ανδρες διαβαινοντες ειδον το σωμα ερριμμενον εν τη οδω και τον λεοντα ισταμενον πλησιον του σωματος· και ελθοντες απηγγειλαν τουτο εν τη πολει, οπου κατωκει ο προφητης ο γερων.

And, behold, men passed by, and saw the body cast in the way, and the lion standing by the body; and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt.
