About this tool

Estimates how much a given number of streams pays across major music platforms, using publicly reported average per-stream rates. Spotify typically pays US$ 0.003–0.005 per stream; Apple Music around US$ 0.007–0.01; Tidal up to US$ 0.012.

Actual payouts depend on the listener's country, subscription tier (free vs. premium) and the platform's total revenue pool that month. The rates used here are industry averages — your real statement may differ by ±30%.

Independent artists on distributors like DistroKid or TuneCore receive 100% of the streaming royalty. Artists on labels typically receive 15–25% after the label's share and recoupable advances are deducted.
