My Browser Info

See your browser, operating system, screen resolution, language and other details your device reveals to every website you visit.

How to use

  1. Open this page and your browser info appears instantly — no button to press.
  2. Read the table: browser name and version, operating system, screen resolution, language and more.
  3. The full user agent string is at the bottom — copy it if you need it for a bug report or a support ticket.

About this tool

Every time your browser opens a page, it sends a string called the user agent that names itself, its version and the operating system underneath. This tool parses that string and adds what JavaScript can see — screen resolution, viewport size, color depth, language, cookie support and touch capability — into a single table.

The information here is not secret: every website you visit already receives it. Seeing it in one place is useful when filing a bug report, when a support agent asks what browser you are using, or when you want to know what a fingerprinting script can see about your device without asking.

Nothing is stored. The page reads your browser headers and the JavaScript APIs and renders them on screen — the result stays on your device and is never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Does this page store my data?

No. The information is read from your browser headers and JavaScript APIs and rendered locally. Nothing is uploaded or logged.

Why does my user agent say Chrome when I use Edge?

Because Edge is built on Chromium and includes "Chrome" in its user agent for compatibility. The parser identifies Edge from the "Edg/" token that follows.

Can a website see my screen resolution?

Yes, through the JavaScript screen object. It sees the physical resolution and the viewport — the area inside the browser window.

Is this the same as browser fingerprinting?

It shows a subset of the data a fingerprint uses. A real fingerprint adds canvas rendering, WebGL, installed fonts and more. This page shows only what every site already gets.

Why is the viewport smaller than the screen?

Because the viewport is the area inside the browser window, minus the address bar, tabs and any operating system elements.
