About this tool

A consórcio is a Brazilian group-buying scheme where participants pay monthly installments into a common fund and one member is contemplated (awarded the full amount) each month by draw or bid. There is no interest, but the administration fee is the real cost.

This tool calculates the monthly installment as the asset value plus the total admin fee, divided by the number of months. It shows the total paid and the effective cost so you can compare against financing or saving on your own.

Consórcio is not a guaranteed timeline — you may be contemplated in the first month or the last. If you need the asset on a specific date, financing with a known rate may be more predictable.

The formula

Monthly payment ≈ (Credit ÷ Months) + Administration Fee + Reserve Fund. Bid adjusts the payment or the credit, and the contemplation order depends on the draw or the bid.
