Da kam der Geist Gottes über Sacharja, den Sohn Jojadas, des Priesters, so daß er wider das Volk auftrat und zu ihnen sprach: So spricht Gott: Warum übertretet ihr die Gebote des HERRN? Das bringt euch kein Glück, denn weil ihr den HERRN verlassen habt, wird er euch auch verlassen!

Aber der Geist Gottes ergriff Sacharja, den Sohn des Priesters Jojada, daß er vor das Volk trat und zu ihnen sprach: So spricht Gott: Warum übertretet ihr die Gebote Jahwes und wollt euch um euer Glück bringen? Weil ihr Jahwe verlassen habt, verließ er euch!

Και περιεχυθη το Πνευμα του Θεου επι Ζαχαριαν τον υιον του Ιωδαε του ιερεως, και σταθεις επανωθεν του λαου, ειπε προς αυτους, Ουτω λεγει ο Θεος· Δια τι παραβαινετε σεις τας εντολας του Κυριου; δεν θελετε βεβαιως ευοδωθη· επειδη σεις εγκατελιπετε τον Κυριον, και αυτος εγκατελιπεν εσας.

Και περιεχύθη το Πνεύμα του Θεού επί Ζαχαρίαν τον υιόν του Ιωδαέ του ιερέως, και σταθείς επάνωθεν του λαού, είπε προς αυτούς, Ούτω λέγει ο Θεός· Διά τι παραβαίνετε σεις τας εντολάς του Κυρίου; δεν θέλετε βεβαίως ευοδωθή· επειδή σεις εγκατελίπετε τον Κύριον, και αυτός εγκατέλιπεν εσάς.

And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest; and he stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of Jehovah, so that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken Jehovah, he hath also forsaken you.
