Da trat der Gottesmann abermals herzu und sagte zum König von Israel: »So hat der HERR gesprochen: ›Weil die Syrer gesagt haben, der HERR sei ein Gott der Berge, aber kein Gott der Ebenen, so will ich diesen ganzen gewaltigen Heerhaufen in deine Hand geben, damit ihr erkennt, daß ich der HERR bin.‹«

Und der Mann Gottes trat herzu und sprach zum König von Israel: So spricht der HERR: Weil die Syrer gesagt haben, der HERR sei ein Gott der Berge und nicht ein Gott der Talgründe, so habe ich diese ganze große Menge in deine Hand gegeben, damit ihr erfahret, daß ich der HERR bin!

Da trat der Gottesmann herzu und sprach zum Könige von Israel: So spricht Jahwe: Darum, weil die Aramäer gesagt haben, ein Berggott sei Jahwe und nicht ein Gott der Thalgründe, so will ich diesen ganzen großen Haufen in deine Gewalt geben, damit du erkennest, daß ich Jahwe bin!

Και προσηλθεν ο ανθρωπος του Θεου και ελαλησε προς τον βασιλεα του Ισραηλ, και ειπεν, Ουτω λεγει Κυριος· Επειδη οι Συριοι ειπον, Ο Κυριος ειναι Θεος των βουνων, αλλ' ουχι Θεος των κοιλαδων, δια τουτο θελω παραδωσει εις την χειρα σου απαν το μεγα τουτο πληθος, και θελετε γνωρισει οτι εγω ειμαι ο Κυριος.

Και προσήλθεν ο άνθρωπος του Θεού και ελάλησε προς τον βασιλέα του Ισραήλ, και είπεν, Ούτω λέγει Κύριος· Επειδή οι Σύριοι είπον, Ο Κύριος είναι Θεός των βουνών, αλλ' ουχί Θεός των κοιλάδων, διά τούτο θέλω παραδώσει εις την χείρα σου άπαν το μέγα τούτο πλήθος, και θέλετε γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος.

And a man of God came near and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith Jehovah, Because the Syrians have said, Jehovah is a god of the hills, but he is not a god of the valleys; therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thy hand, and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

And a man of God came up and said to the king of Israel, The Lord says, Because the Aramaeans have said, The Lord is a god of the hills and not of the valleys; I will give all this great army into your hands, and you will see that I am the Lord.

And one man of God, drawing near, said to the king of Israel: “Thus says the Lord: Because the Syrians have said, ‘The Lord is the God of the mountains, but he is not the God of the valleys,’ I will deliver this entire great multitude into your hand, and you shall know that I am the Lord.”

And the man ofGod drew near, and spoke to the king of Israel and said, Thus saith Jehovah: Because the Syrians have said, Jehovah is agod of the mountains, but he is not agod of the valleys, I will give all this great multitude into thy hand, and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

(And a man of God coming, said to the king of Israel: Thus saith the Lord: Because the Syrians have said: The Lord is God of the hills, but is not God of the valleys: I will deliver all this great multitude into thy hand, and you shall know that I am the Lord.)

तब परमेश्वर के उसी जन ने इस्राएल के राजा के पास जा कर कहा, यहोवा यों कहता है, अरामियों ने यह कहा है, कि यहोवा पहाड़ी देवता है, परन्तु नीची भूमि का नहीं है; इस कारण मैं उस बड़ी भीड़ को तेरे हाथ में कर दूंगा, तब तुम्हें बोध हो जाएगा कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।

Da trådte den Guds mann frem og sa til Israels konge: Så sier Herren, sa han: Fordi syrerne har sagt: Herren er en fjellgud og ikke en dalgud, så vil jeg gi hele denne store mengde i din hånd, og I skal kjenne at jeg er Herren.

Då steig gudsmannen fram og sagde til Israels-kongen: «So segjer Herren: «For di syrarane hev sagt at Herren er ein fjellgud og ikkje ein dalgud, so vil eg gjeva heile denne store hopen i henderne dine, og de skal skyna at eg er Herren.»»

Então, um homem de Deus aproximou-se e disse ao rei de Israel: "Assim diz Yahweh: 'Porque os sírios disseram que Yahweh é o deus dos montes, mas não é o deus dos vales, Eu colocarei esse grande exército em tua mão e saberás que Eu sou Yahweh'".

Bấy giờ, người của Ðức Chúa Trời đến gần vua Y-sơ-ra-ên mà nói rằng: Ðức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Bởi vì dân Sy-ri có nói rằng: Ðức Giê-hô-va là thần núi, chớ chẳng phải thần trũng, nên ta sẽ phó đoàn binh rất đông đảo này vào tay ngươi, và các ngươi sẽ biết ta là Giê-hô-va.

有 神 人 來 見 以 色 列 王 ， 說 ： 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 亞 蘭 人 既 說 我 ─ 耶 和 華 是 山 　 神 ， 不 是 平 原 的 　 神 ， 所 以 我 必 將 這 一 大 群 人 都 交 在 你 手 中 ， 你 們 就 知 道 我 是 耶 和 華 。

有一位神人前來對以色列王說：“耶和華這樣說：‘因為亞蘭人說耶和華是山神，不是平原的神，所以我要把這些強大的軍兵交在你手裡，你們就知道我是耶和華。’”
