ταυτα ομως εκρυπτες εν τη καρδια σου· εξευρω οτι τουτο ητο μετα σου.

Yet these things thou didst hide in thy heart; I know that this is with thee:

But you kept these things in the secret of your heart; I am certain this was in your thoughts:

For this reason, I thought to myself, saying: I will go to the face of the leader Holofernes, so that I may reveal to him their secrets, and show him by what means he may be able to prevail over them, without one man of his army being slain.”

And these things didst thou hide in thy heart; I know that this was with thee.

Though thou hast hid these things in thine heart, yet I knowe that it is so with thee.
