وتضرع يهوآحاز الى وجه الرب فسمع له الرب لانه رأى ضيق اسرائيل لان ملك ارام ضايقهم.

Ale když se modlil Joachaz Hospodinu, vyslyšel jej Hospodin. Viděl zajisté trápení Izraelské, že je ssužoval král Syrský.

Men Joahas bad ydmygeligt til Herren, og Herren hørte ham; thi han saa til Israels Trængsel, thi Kongen af Syrien trængte dem.

Και εδεηθη του Κυριου ο Ιωαχαζ, και επηκουσεν αυτου ο Κυριος· διοτι ειδε την θλιψιν του Ισραηλ, οτι ο βασιλευς της Συριας κατεθλιβεν αυτους.

And Jehoahaz besought Jehovah, and Jehovah hearkened unto him; for he saw the oppression of Israel, how that the king of Syria oppressed them.

Then Jehoahaz made prayer to the Lord, and the Lord gave ear to him, for he saw how cruelly Israel was crushed by the king of Aram.

But Jehoahaz petitioned the face of the Lord, and the Lord heeded him. For he saw the anguish of Israel, because the king of Syria had oppressed them.
