Organize your shopping list by category — produce, dairy, meat and more — with checkboxes and local storage.
A shopping list that groups items by supermarket section saves time in the aisles: you pick up everything from produce before moving to dairy, instead of zigzagging back and forth. This tool organizes into ten categories — produce, dairy, meat, bakery, pantry, frozen, beverages, cleaning, personal care and other — and saves the list in your browser so it survives closing the tab.
The list lives in local storage, which means it is on your device and is not uploaded anywhere. It does not sync between devices, and clearing your browser data deletes it. The tradeoff is privacy without an account: no signup, no server, no one else sees what you are buying.
Check items off as you shop, and clear the list when you are done. If you add the same item twice, both appear — it does not merge them.
No. It is stored in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
Not directly from this tool. You can take a screenshot or copy the items manually.
No. Local storage is per-browser, per-device. The list on your phone is independent of the list on your computer.
The list is deleted. Local storage does not survive a data clear.
