See where your team stands — current goal difference, points needed, and how many wins it takes to qualify.
Goal difference is goals scored minus goals conceded, and it is the first tiebreaker in most football leagues. In the Brasileirão, if two teams finish on the same points, the one with the higher goal difference advances.
This calculator shows the current goal difference and works backwards from a points target to tell you how many wins are needed. Three points per win means that the minimum wins to close a gap of N points is ceil(N/3), and any draws reduce the remaining gap but add only one point each.
It is a scenario tool, not a prediction. Football is unpredictable, and the actual path to a target depends on fixtures, form and the results of other teams.
GD = goals scored − goals conceded. Points needed = target − current. Minimum wins = ⌈points needed / 3⌉. Maximum points = remaining games × 3.
The next tiebreaker varies by league. In the Brasileirão, it is goals scored, then head-to-head record.
In the Brasileirão, the historical safe line is around 45-48 points in 38 rounds. It varies by season.
Not in this tool — it calculates one team at a time. Run it once for each team to compare scenarios.
