Aber von der Hälfte der Kinder Israel sollst du von je fünfzig ein Stück nehmen, von Menschen, Rindern, Eseln und Schafen, von allem Vieh, und sollst es den Leviten geben, die der Wohnung des HERRN warten.

Aus der den Israeliten zufallenden Hälfte aber sollst du immer eins von fünfzig herausgreifen, aus den Menschen, wie aus den Rindern, Eseln und Schafen - dem gesamten Vieh -, und sollst sie den Leviten übergeben, die des Dienstes an der Wohnung Jahwes warten.

Likewise, from the half of the portion belonging to the sons of Israel, you shall receive the fiftieth head of humans, and of oxen, and donkeys, and sheep, and of all living things, and you shall give these to the Levites who stand watch over the care of the tabernacle of the Lord.”
