فاخذ الارغفة الخمسة والسمكتين ورفع نظره نحو السماء وبارك ثم كسر الارغفة واعطى تلاميذه ليقدموا اليهم. وقسم السمكتين للجميع.

Και λαβών τους πέντε άρτους και τα δύο οψάρια, αναβλέψας εις τον ουρανόν ηυλόγησε και κατέκοψε τους άρτους και έδιδεν εις τους μαθητάς αυτού διά να βάλωσιν έμπροσθεν αυτών, και τα δύο οψάρια εμοίρασεν εις πάντας.
