ثم نقل من هناك الى الجبل شرقي بيت ايل ونصب خيمته. وله بيت ايل من المغرب وعاي من المشرق. فبنى هناك مذبحا للرب ودعا باسم الرب.

And he removed from thence unto the mountain on the east of Beth-el, and pitched his tent, having Beth-el on the west, and Ai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto Jehovah, and called upon the name of Jehovah.

Derfra flyttet han til fjellene østenfor Betel og slo op sitt telt med Betel i vest og Ai i øst; og han bygget der et alter for Herren og påkalte Herrens navn.
