فقال هل عرفت لماذا جئت اليك. فالآن ارجع واحارب رئيس فارس. فاذا خرجت هوذا رئيس اليونان ياتي.

Da sprach er: Weißt du, warum ich zu dir gekommen bin? Gleich muß ich zwar zurückkehren, um mit dem Schutzengel Persiens zu kämpfen, und wenn ich von ihm los bin, so ist schon der Schutzengel von Griechenland zum Kampfe herbeigekommen;
Και ειπεν, Εξευρεις δια τι ηλθον προς σε; τωρα δε θελω επιστρεψει να πολεμησω μετα του αρχοντος της Περσιας· και οταν εξελθω, ιδου, ο αρχων της Ελλαδος θελει ελθει.
Και είπεν, Εξεύρεις διά τι ήλθον προς σε; τώρα δε θέλω επιστρέψει να πολεμήσω μετά του άρχοντος της Περσίας· και όταν εξέλθω, ιδού, ο άρχων της Ελλάδος θέλει ελθεί.
Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I am come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I go forth, lo, the prince of Greece shall come.
Then he said, It is clear to you why I have come to you. And now I will give you an account of what is recorded in the true writings:
And this shall be in that day: those not added to the remnant of Israel, and those who escape of the house of Jacob, will not lean upon him who strikes them. Instead, they will lean upon the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
And he said, Knowest thou wherefore I am come unto thee? And now I return to fight with the prince of Persia; and when I go forth, behold, the prince of Greece shall come.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and they that shall escape of the house of Jacob, shall lean no more upon him that striketh them: but they shall lean upon the Lord the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
Then saide he, Knowest thou wherefore I am come vnto thee? but nowe will I returne to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, loe, the prince of Grecia shall come.

Then he said, "Do you know why I have come to you? Now I will return to fight with the prince of Persia. When I go forth, behold, the prince of Greece shall come.
