Ale Joiada kněz rozkázal vyjíti setníkům, hejtmanům vojska, řka jim: Vyveďte ji prostředkem řadů, a kdož by za ní šel, ať jest zabit mečem. Nebo byl řekl kněz: Nezabijejte jí v domě Hospodinově.

Und wer ihr folgt, soll mit dem Schwert niedergehauen werden!« Der Priester hatte nämlich befohlen: »Ihr dürft sie nicht im Tempel des HERRN töten!«

Aber Jojada, der Priester, ließ die Obersten über die Hundertschaften, welche über das Heer gesetzt waren, hinausgehen und sprach zu ihnen: Führet sie hinaus, außerhalb der Reihen, und wer ihr nachfolgt, den soll man mit dem Schwerte töten! (denn der Priester sprach: Ihr sollt sie nicht töten im Hause des HERRN!).

Der Priester Jojada aber ließ die Hauptleute über die Hundertschaften, die Obersten des Heeres, vortreten und sprach zu ihnen: Führt sie hinaus zwischen den Reihen hindurch, und wer ihr folgt, soll mit dem Schwerte getötet werden! Denn der Priester hatte befohlen: Tötet sie nicht im Tempel Jahwes!

Then the high priest Jehoiada, going out to the centurions and to the leaders of the army, said to them: “Lead her away, beyond the borders of the temple. And let her be put to death outside, with the sword.” And the priest instructed that she should not be killed in the house of the Lord.
