A když opět ráno nazejtří vstali, aj, Dágon, jakž upadl, ležel tváří svou na zemi před truhlou Hospodinovou; hlava pak Dágonova a obě dlaně rukou jeho odražené byly na prahu, jen ho špalek zůstal.

Als sie aber am folgenden Morgen frühe aufstanden, siehe, da fanden sie den Dagon abermals auf seinem Angesicht auf der Erde liegen vor der Lade des HERRN; aber sein Haupt und seine beiden Hände lagen abgehauen auf der Schwelle, nur der Fischleib war von ihm übriggeblieben.

Am andern Morgen früh aber befand sich, daß Dagon abermals vor der Lade Jahwes auf sein Angesicht niedergefallen war, und zwar lagen der Kopf Dagons und seine beiden Hände abgeschlagen auf der Schwelle; nur der Rumpf Dagons war noch von ihm zurückgeblieben.

Και την επαυριον οτε εσηκωθησαν ενωρις το πρωι, ιδου, ο Δαγων πεσμενος κατα προσωπον αυτου επι της γης ενωπιον της κιβωτου του Κυριου· και η κεφαλη του Δαγων και αι δυο παλαμαι των χειρων αυτου αποκεκομμεναι επι του κατωφλιου· μονον ο κορμος του Δαγων εναπεμεινεν εις αυτον.

Men tidlig om morgenen den næste dag fikk de se at Dagon var falt ned med ansiktet mot jorden foran Herrens ark, og at Dagons hode og begge hans hender lå avhugget på dørtreskelen; bare kroppen var tilbake av Dagon.
